Our 5-STAR Alumni take their CET + HIPAA, Food Handlers Safety, and Medical Cannabis Budtending 101 and get their Background Checks to become 5-STAR Alumni through SeedCrest. Each bundle is organized to capture the standard but to fit when the professional already has a credential, such as the Food Handlers, or if they want to take extra credentials. 5-STAR Basic Bundle: Includes the Cannabis Establishment Tech + HIPAA and State & National Background Checks. MOST POPULAR! 5-STAR Pro Bundle: Everything that is in the 5-STAR Basic, but the Food Handler Safety Certificate is added. 5-STAR Premier Bundle: Everything that is in the 5-STAR Pro but adds a Sexual Harassment or Cannabis Server Education Course (or any additional course of choice).

A: No. Our programs are asynchronous, which means learners go at their own pace. Each course and credential has a stated turnaround and duration of time required to complete.

A: Most students complete courses in 2–3 hours, and bundles in 4-6 hours, but learners have up to 12 months to finish and renew annually.

A: Yes, 5-STAR Alumni can update their resumes accordingly: Cannabis Establishment Technician + HIPAA Certificate (expiration date). Food Handlers Safety Certificate (expiration date). Passed National and State Background Checks (date).

A: Yes. It’s a team effort, however, as your job search is your responsibility. We send resumes to employers who are on our job board and in our book of business or affiliated with us, but our reach is not industry wide. You are required to do your own searching and applications.

A: 5-STAR Alumni are individuals who are in a Top Tier Talent Pool for cannabis jobs. They have completed the onboarding required courses and are recognized as job-ready candidates. Alumni receive digital credentials, on-going support from our career team, and optional referrals to companies using SeedCrest hiring solutions. When you become a 5-STAR Alumni, we provide a 5-STAR letter of recommendation to accompany your resume for applications.
