Course Overview & Benefits:

The 5-STAR Basic Onboarding Bundle provides the minimum essential compliance training required for Retail, Manufacturing, and Cultivation roles. It fulfills foundational state requirements and offers an accessible entry point for employees starting their cannabis careers.



Included in This Bundle:

Cannabis Establishment Technician (CET) + HIPAA Certificate Course
– Required safety, sanitation, legal, and HIPAA training
– Meets NMAC 16.8.2 workforce standards

Standard Background Check
– National screening aligned with cannabis industry hiring regulations



Duration & Renewal:


CET + HIPAA: ~4.5 hours | annual renewal recommended
Background Check: one-time; employer may re-screen



Integration:

Supports internal onboarding workflows, reduces administrative burden, and ensures compliance for new hires in starter-level roles.



Access:

12-month enrollment with full access to training and certification records.
